Extra-Curricular Activities
Through the formal school curriculum, pupils have the opportunity to acquire knowledge, understanding and skills to aid their academic and social development.
However, there is not always as much time available within the curriculum as the school would like for other aspects of personal development such as involvement with the local community, being aware of the needs of others and constructive use of leisure time.
To complement the curriculum pupils are encouraged to become involved in extra-curricular activities through which they can further develop skills, interests and attitudes in preparation for adult life.
Those activities available at present are:
- Art Club
- Athletics
- Badminton
- Choir
- Computer Club
- Drama Club
- Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme
- Educational Trips
- Guitar Club
- Hockey
- Netball
- Rugby
- School Band
- Scripture Union
- Soccer
- Table Tennis
