Past Pupil & Parent Teacher Association

The High School Ballynahinch has a very active and successful Past Pupil and Parent Teacher Association.

The main aim of the PP&PTA is to encourage cooperation between parents and teachers to work together to provide a varied programme of fund raising projects and social events for the benefit of all pupils. The PP&PTA works within the context of The High School Ballynahinch as a friendly, caring and supportive community for pupils, their families and staff. We attempt to offer an attractive calendar of social events which will provide opportunities for parents to come into School and get to know staff and other parents in an informal setting.

The programme of events varies from year to year but some events have become so popular that they have become part of our annual calendar. Some of the events which have taken place over the past two years are listed below.

Formal Fayre Fireside Quiz Valentine Raffle

With the money raised, the PP&PTA has recently contributed to the funding for awards on Prize Day, the school formal, purchase of software for Home Economics, and plant containers to enhance the outdoor school environment.

If you are able to help or have any suggestions for future events, you can contact us on our web site under the section "Contact us" or leave a note at reception stating; F.A.O. P.T.A. Committee.

We look forward to hearing from you!
